  Job Duties:

Conduct new ingredient and food product research; Develop new products for the sales team; Improve product quality by modifying the formulation of current products. Perform physical and chemical analysis on ingredients and/or food products. Develop product, process and/or packaging specifications for food products. Study methods to improve the quality of foods such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods. Perform product scale-up and new product commissioning. Conduct operational data analysis to finalize product and process specifications. Lead and assist in quality evaluation of nutrition ingredients and customer complaints, as necessary. Maintain quality databases, including tracking of production lots, stability studies, test results, quality investigations, and safety control documents.
